[UNFINISHED] Flying Block LoJam2024

Name : Spear Block

Tech: Pygame

Description: Play as a block that needs to get to the green. By using the block you can attach to flying red spears that travel across the screen. This way you can fly over the pit.

Controls for Keyboard: - WSAD forward/back/left/right

This was a submission for LoJam 2024 with the theme of  "Obstacles do not block the path, they are the path.

Notes

I originally wanted to do a puzzle game and realized it was harder than I expected. Tried to pivot into a paper-type game but ended up not being able to find time to make assets due to assignments and essays that I forgot about. Sorry for the poor submission!

In general, I thought having spears/projectiles as a way of travel was a fun way of travelling. In the future, I would like to expand and make a more interesting game with more time.
